Concorde was an extraordinary technical achievement borne out of an era when supersonic travel captivated imiginations.

It was also an extraordinary achievment in international cooperation, setting new standards and methods in place for generations to come.

The Concorde Video and Newspaper Set  consists of a reprint of the Daily Mirror from March 3rd 1969, featuring the history-making first flight of the Concorde, and the sought after video "Concorde - The End of an Era".

This video presents a unique insight into the development of the Concorde, going behind the scenes in the many sites in France and Britain. It also features rare archive footage of many of the test aircraft built to test the technologies that went into Concorde.

Of special interest are interviews recorded with the late Brian Trubshaw and Andre Turcat, Chief test pilots for the Concorde programme in Britain and France respectively.

The programme is brought right upto date with the tragic crash in Paris, the return to flight and the memorable images of Concorde's last return to London's Heathrow Airport.
