There are two aims to this game, the first being to keep your mice on the board without them being captured by your opponent. At the same time as keeping up the defence you must use your cheese tokens which allow you to manoeuvre the mouse of the opposition onto a space where the trap will take them captive. If your mouse is the last one left on the board then you win, and it’s as simple as that!

Beware though; as you move around the board your opponent might land on ‘build’ or ‘turn crank’ spaces which allow them to pick up those precious cheese tokens, build another piece of the trap and turn the crank which ultimately decides a mouse’s demise.
