The Solar Powered Sun Jar is not just a nice accessory for your home - and is now available in a choice of three colours, natural yellow, blue and pink, the Sun Jar can be used as a subtle back light, a night light or mood lighting.
The Sun Jar was designed by the renowned designer Tobias Wong. Made from a frosted glass traditional style mason jar, each jar measures approximately 16cm in height and 10cm in diameter, built into each jar is a compact solar cell, a rechargable battery and an energy efficient led bulb.
The original Sun Jar was voted Gift of the year in 2007 by the Giftware Association and has proved to be a popular seller ever since, with additional colour choices (pink and blue) introduced in 2009.
